I am shocked how many people in Lynchburg have never been to Mister Goodie's brick and mortar location! You are missing out!

Most people in the area are aware of Mister Goodie's food truck location off of Timberlake Road (thank goodness). But I keep encountering people who have never made the trip out to Boonsboro to get hard-serve ice cream. What a bummer! The experience is fantastic.

Granted, the drive to the shop can be a little out of the way, but when you finally go, you'll probably be glad the trek is so far; it does wonders for self-control.

Mister Goodie's offers a gazillion flavors (32 to be exact). With offerings like Banana Creme Pie, Chocolate Insanity, Seasalt Truffle and Brookie, it will take you forever to decide. Praise for free samples to help you narrow it down. Also, the portion size is definitely a bang for your buck. I once tried to eat a small by myself and it was a blessed, delicious struggle.

P.S. Keep your eyes open for some special promotions by the shop. They once had a Christmas in July event where you could get free ice cream for wearing Christmas apparel. They also hosted ice cream for a penny upon their first anniversary!
