I recently learned at trivia night that 13 states DON'T have a mini-golf course.........do those people even have childhoods? Mini-golf is just one of those things that you always just remember doing, right? What would a summer be without fishing your golf-ball out of those gross decorative ponds and doing a victory dance upon a hole-in-one?

Lynchburg's staple mini-golf course is Putt Putt Fun Center located on Timberlake. It's a good size (eighteen holes) and can be pretty tricky at some parts. The center also has other fun activities, like go-carts and water bumper cars. Of course, there are ravenous kids running around, simultaneously guzzling Pixie sticks and shrieking. It's part of the experience, I guess. Batting cages are also available at Putt Putt, which is always fun.

All in all, the Putt Putt Fun Center is a great activity for any age. Grab a pixie stick and head out!
